Scan to Onedrive

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8610, and I need to scan directly from my scan to my OneDrive without a computer.

I think the direct SMTP Profile approach cannot be used in EWS.

What?

I do not have a MacOS system and cannot check.

AND

It appears Digital Send (SMTP) is NOT supported on this little brother to the 8620 / 8630 models.

Looking for > Scan to Network Folder (and not found)

Another approach that might work:

Download and Install the OneDrive App on your MacOS device.

Mac App Store Preview - OneDrive 

Because the described method (below) uses machine to machine transfer -- and if the setup works at all -- you might need to create an App Password to be used in place of your regular sign-in Password for OneDrive.  ??

HP Smart - Application - Shortcuts

Should the HP Smart Shortcuts approach work at all, the MacOS setup might look similar to the Windows Example.

Open your HP Smart application > Click on Help and Support > Look for setup or help for Shortcuts

HP Smart Shortcuts are eligible to work on supported Mobile Devices -

If I run across it in my notes, I will provide an example of Shortcuts > Save to OneDrive.

Scan > Share > to Files and other Destinations is supported.

@Dragon-Furis likely correct. Even many of their high end enterprise products only support scan to Onedrive through either HP Scan which runs on your desktop or through a WorkPath App, which is not supported on Officejet products.
