My HP printer was working fine for the longest time. Recently it will not let me scan to my computer from the HP app it states that it is disabled and to contact the person who setup the printer. Well since I am the one who setup the printer I cannot do that. I do not know what has happened. When I go to Printer Assistance it will not even let me click on the print, scan, & fax option. Please help me as I use this all of the time for work and my kids use it for school.

Hi,
Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe
Be sure to select Fix Scanning and follow the steps on screen, restart your PC when required to and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
Please let me know if that helps,
Shlomi

I have downloaded the hp doctor and all it tells me to do is download the updated drivers. When i follow the links there are no drivers for me to download. Trust me I would prefer to have it downloaded directly to my computer and not have to you HP Smart to scan things, however my printer will not scan before without using the HP Smart app.
As I stated in my original question I cannot click on the scan option as it does not highlight the print, scan, fax option or give me anyway to click on it at all.
