I am unable to utilize the scan to computer button  that is located on the display of my printer.   I have HP easy scan installed.  I opened my printer from system preferences and clicked on open scanner and have even been able to test scan to computer from the computer.  BUT, when i use the button on the printer, NOTHING!  Seems like I am missing something.  Please Help!

Hi,

Scanning to a computer from your printer is supported on Windows PCs only, not on Mac OS, see page 84 of its user guide:

You may scan from your Mac using HP Easy Scan from a Mac using the HP Software.

 

You may also set up an alternate feature such as Scanning to a network folder for a network connection:
