I tried one of the posts that fixes this iss ue of error message "scan to computer cannot be enabled" and it did not work for me

Hi,

Open HP Easy Scan from your applications folder, within the HP Easy Scan top menu, click Check for Updates and install any available update.


Next, ensure your drivers are up to date by clicking the Apple icon, select About this Mac and then press Software Update.
Click Store on the top menu bar, click Reload Page, click Update All if any updated are available.

Now check for any difference while enabling Scan to Computer.
