Just purchased a new iMac with OS Catalina, version 10.15.1. I am trying to set up the printer so I can scan to the computer. (worked just fine with the old Mac).  I downloaded HP say Scan and drivers but the computer does not recognize the scanner.  I have no problems printing wirelessly from the the same iMac?  The old Mac had an app called HP Utility that I had to enable "scan to computer" however I am not able to find that app any longer.

Here I leave you a document to try to solve your issue, actually let me tell you something about HP Easy Start is not more longer compatible with the MacOS Catalina 10.15.1 but... you can try next steps to solve issue and try to use the scanner

I am not having any problems printing from the new Mac or any other device.  I am not able to scan to my new Mac. I followed the instructions you sent and I am still having the same problem.  I tried the "scan from Web" and the scanner runs and the document runs through the document feeder, but the scan that shows up on the computer is blank.
