Scan to computer problems

HP Envy All-In-One Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Officejet Pro 9010 Series all in one Printer has scan to computer enabled. It still want scan when I push start scan on the printer screen. Won't get passed the preparing to scan step. Tells me to download software which I have already done.

Any suggestions.

I understand you are trying to scan from the printer screen to the computer. This requires HP full-feature driver to be installed on the computer.

Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.

Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.


Open the HP Printer Assistant software(double click printer icon on the desktop screen)

Go to Scan > Scan to computer > Manage > Enable

Try scanning.
