Hi,
You may follow below steps to set up scan to email, the steps below are very similar to your printer model and both the EWS or the Scan to Email Wizard in the software can be used:
https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06269807
For Yahoo, here is the SMTP server information to be used:
- Server - smtp.mail.**bleep**
- Port - 465 or 587
- Requires SSL/TLS - Yes (checked)
- Requires authentication - Yes
Use your full Yahoo email address as the user.
For the password, generate and use an App Specific Password, the printer will fail to connect to Yahoo servers with its standard SMTP authentication:
Once completing the steps, click on Save and Test.
If the test fails, let us know what exact error message is shown please.
Regards,
Shlomi

Thanks for clarifying.
From the Network tab select Network Identification.
Set the Primary IPv4 address as 8.8.8.8
Set the Secondary IPv4 address as 8.8.4.4 and then press apply.
Restart the printer, go back to the Scan tab and click on test for the configured profile.
May you see any difference now?
If you experience further issues, is the printer connected wireless or with a wired Ethernet cable to the router?
