Scan to email always goes to recipients’ junk mail.  Any ideas on how to prevent this? Thanks.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

"Junk" is a word some mail providers use for the Spam folder.

Mail servers make decisions about what is "junk" based on internal rules and -- ideally -- using the email recipients own decisions on what should be allowed to be received in the Inbox.

The control is generally at the recipient's mail box, that is, the software the recipient uses to receive mail at that address.

The person (email address) receiving the mail must adjust the mail settings to allow the mail to settle into the Inbox.

If the local mail client does not include controls to tell the mail software that the message "is not spam", then the user must (perhaps) sign into the mail software using a different method.

For example, if the mail recipient is using a mobile device to view mail, have the user sign into that mail using the provider's preferred method.

What?

Google mail can be opened - along with its various security settings - using your favorite browser (for example, Firefox).

Yahoo mail can be opened - also allowing access to its settings - using your browser.

Outlook might like to be opened using the Outlook software - typically included in the Microsoft Office suite.

Finally,

If the recipient does not have any control over the security or settings in their mail provider - perhaps because the mail is controlled by an IT department at University or at work -- the user must ask for help from those who manage the mail service.  Some work environments do not allow mail to be received from a mail engine (server).
