Scan to email on HP 8710 stopped working. It says username and password in incorrect. I am trying to scan to a hotmail account.  Has worked properly in the past. Now does not work.

Please Use HP Print and Scan Doctor 

Download HP Print and Scan Doctor and run the program. It will automatically diagnose and fix any printer connectivity issues.

Let's reconfigure scan to email. There are two ways to set up scan to email. 

 

1) From HP Printer Software

2) From Embedded Web Server

 

I recommend doing it from the HP Printer Software.

Thanks Rachel, I will try your solution and post the result. I found scan to computer works and have been using it instead.
