Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My printer suddenly stopped letting me scan to email, with this message: "Username or Password is incorrect. make sure both user account and password are valid."

 

How do I find how to check these?

If the password in Scan to Email needs to be updated / checked,

If the printer is on the network,

Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to configure / update Scan to Email

 

Example  - Officejet Pro 8740 - Scan to Email setup

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Scan > Topic Scan to Email > Scan to Email Setup

Enter / Verify data > Click Apply to save changes
