Hello,
I'm facing an issue with my HP ScanJet Pro 2000 s2 scanner on Windows 11. The scanner does not work consistently. After installing the official HP scanning software, it sometimes works—but only for a single scan. Once I close the application or try to scan again later, it stops functioning entirely.
Steps I have tried:
Uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Scan software and drivers multiple times.
Tried running the software in compatibility mode.
Verified USB connections and ports.
Checked for firmware updates.
After each reinstallation, the scanner may work once, and then fails to respond again. This issue seems to be recurring specifically on Windows 11.
Is there a known compatibility issue between the ScanJet Pro 2000 s2 and Windows 11? Any suggestions or workarounds would be appreciated.
