Does the ADF scan both size of paper? Can I use glass scan to scan both side of a paper? Does the scan program allow multi scans. Scan many pictures and will it crop them? Can faxing do double size pages? Does the printer have a automatic paper sensor? I read in the spec online that it have autmoatic paper sensing. Everytime I put paper in the paper tray it always asking me what the type of paper and if it have a automatic paper senser I would think it would sense what type of paper it have when it about to print.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
We'll try to answer each question at a time:
1. Does the ADF scan both size of paper?
No, the ADF scans Simplex - i.e. scans one side at a time.
2. Can I use glass scan to scan both side of a paper?
Yes you can use the glass to scan both sides, but to do that, you need to scan 1 side (1st side) at time, then flip the document to scan the 2nd side.
3. Does the scan program allow multi scans.
Yes, if you installed the FULL feature software, you can use the ADF to scan a multiple page document.
This relevant resource will show you how it's done.
Scanning multiple pages using the ADF and Scan Glass
4. Scan many pictures and will it crop them?
This relevant resource will show you how:
5. Can faxing do double size pages?
Yes, you need to scan (Fax) one side and then scan (Fax) the 2nd side.
6. Does the printer have a automatic paper sensor?
The auto paper sensor senses if there is paper in the tray. It does not know what paper size/type is inserted (hence the prompt on the type of paper etc)
For use scanning resources (especially with the FULL feature software), you can refer to this link:
Hope that helps.

Hi @Emery25,
If the FULL feature software is installed, there should be an icon on the desktop.
Thanks.
