Product: Scanjet 4070 Photosmart scanner
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

After upgrading to Mojave my scanner will no longer show a preview image.

Hi,

The scanner is not compatible with Mojave as listed be below support document:

You may try the 3rd party VueScan application which seems to support your scanner:

https://www.hamrick.com/vuescan/hp_scanjet_4070.html#technical-information

HP Recommended

The scanner is compatible with Mojave, it is just the software support for the scanner from HP that is failing compatibility.
