Hi HP Tech Support,

 

I installed the drivers and updates from this page: 

https://support.hp.com/lv-en/drivers/hp-scanjet-4470c-scanner-series/28442

 

At the late part of the driver installation, I got the following error message: 

Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files (X86)\Common Files\Hewlett-Packard\Scanjet\hpgwiamd.dll failed to register.  HRESULT - 21470247770. Contact your support personnel.

 

I tried ignore and finish the setup, and when running the scanner ultility, it displays this error:

Error: ActiveX component can't create object: 'Chassis.ChassisHelpObject'

Code: 0

I tried the upodate package on that page, as well as the patch, but the problem still persist, as the driver for ScanJet 4400C/Cse/Cxi/4470C/Cse/Cxi PrecisionScan Pro software/driver, 3.14, 63.4 MB, Feb 26, 2002 installation keeps showing the first error above. 

 

Please let me know if there's a way we can get the HP engineering team support by looking into the error code and error message.  Or if you know what's wrong, please tell me how to fix it.
