Can I scan 8 x 10 negatives on this device?

You need to buy TMA adapter Q3121A if you want to scan negatives.

Thanks very much for your quick reply.  My problem is that I need to scan 8 x 10 negatives and I'm trying to figure out if I can do that with any of the older HP scanners.  (They're much more affordable.)   It seemed like the 4600 with some sort of attachment might do the trick.  Is there any way to do this?  Are any of the older HP scanners capable of scanning 8 x 10 negatives?  Thanks for your patience with my questions.

Scanjet 4600 with TMA adapter can scan 35mm negatives.

A device that can scan 8x10 negatives in a single pass will cost a lot of $$$.

Thanks.  I know what you mean about the expense of scanners capable of doing 8 x 10 negatives.  I've looked at the Epson 800 and its cost is way over my head.  I've been told that the old HP 4050 might do 8 x 10s, but the description on the HP web site seems to say that it can only do up to 4 x 5.  Do you know anything about the 4050?  Thanks.

G4050 -> Up to sixteen 35 mm slides, thirty 35 mm negative frames, up to two medium format film frames (120 roll film), or one large format film frame (220 roll film).
