Product: HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 5000 s5

I have a scanjet 5000 enterprise flow s5 on the latest firmware / software. When I open HP Scan tools utility, I can see the profiles but they are all grayed out and I cannot add my custom profiles to the LCD. I prefer using the hardware buttons on the scanner rather than the scan software on the PC.
