@Coloprerson, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Scanjet Enterprise 7500.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution. We hope our assistance has been helpful!

It seems that your HP Scanjet Enterprise 7500 might require adjustments in its scanning settings to prevent cutting off parts of the scanned pages, such as the headings. Here are some steps you can follow to adjust the settings:

  1. Check Output Size: Ensure that the output size is correctly set to match the size of the documents you are scanning. Go to the scanner settings and verify that the output size is not smaller than the actual document size.
  2. Positioning Settings: Adjust the positioning settings to ensure that the document is placed correctly. If your scanner has a setting for document placement (e.g., top-left, top-center), make sure it is set to accommodate the full size of your documents.
  3. Margins and Alignment: Check the margin settings to ensure they are not set too narrow, which could cause parts of the page to be clipped. You might also want to consider resetting margins to the default settings, if available, to see if that resolves the issue.
  4. De-skew Feature: If your scanner has a de-skew feature, ensure it is enabled. This feature can help automatically correct any misalignment during scanning.
  5. Scan Resolution and Format: Choose an appropriate scan resolution and format to ensure the quality of the scan. Higher resolutions can sometimes help in capturing the entire document more accurately.
  6. Scanner Calibration: Run a calibration if your scanner supports it. This process can help realign the scanner settings to optimal performance.

If you continue to experience issues after these adjustments, please consider restoring the scanner settings to default to resolve any configuration issues that might have occurred from previous changes.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
