My HP Scanjet Enterprise Flow 5000 s5 worked for a few weeks but is now dropping scans before I can edit and save them. I'll scan 30-40 pages, be ready to delete the many blank pages that it fails to detect properly and delete automatically, but before I can do that the entire screen disappears and I have to start all over again. As I recall, I had the exact same issue with my old HP Scanjet s4 and had to pay $250 for my IT guy to come here and fix. It's a new computer and a newer version of Windows, but still the same problem. I'm not impressed with the software that comes with this scanner. For a relatively expensive scanner they need to do better.
