Product: Scanjet pro 3000s3
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I save a scan and give it a file name, the program appends a number to the file name. like: filename_00001. I can't find a setting anywhere that controls this. How can I stop appending numbers?

Document:

Obtain advanced scan settings and features

See section: Option Eleven: File name options to save a file

 

Uncheck the "Document Counter"
