Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

ScanJet G4050
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have started scanning some old slides that I have found. I have been putting 16 slides into the carrier. At times, the ScanJet scans the 16 slides separately as individual pictures. However, at other times, the ScanJet selects all 16 slides collectively and scans them as one large picture. It seems that once it chooses to select all as one image, it doesn't want to change back to selecting slides as individual photos.

I have restarted the ScanJet and the computer in hopes that it would go back to selecting the slides individually, but no luck.

Any ideas as to how to direct the scanner to select the slides individually?

Many thanks!!

Depending on the scanning software and/or the version, there might be a setting called "Auto-crop", check that box if you see it on the scan control window and it will try to make separate scans.
