We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

iOS 12 - 12.0.1

Officejet 4635 will not scan from app or from printer. Through the app it says “scanner busy”. I have removed cartridges, unplugged unit and held power button for 30 seconds and it still doesn’t work

Most of the iOS scanning issues can be resolved by simply performing a network power cycle. Let's try these steps;

Please ensure that the printer is up to date with its firmware and iOS is up to date with it's software. If you are unsure you may use the links below to update the printer firmware and Mac software:

Update printer firmware

Update iOS

 

1.) Turn off your iOS device, Printer and Router.

2.) Unplug the power from the back of router, wait for 10 -15 seconds.

3.) Connect the power cable back to router, turn on the router first. Wait till the router to initialize.

4.) Turn on Printer and iOS device, try to scan.
