Hi HP staff and community,
I overcame a tough printer problem and now I'm faced with another! When I try to scan many paper types (even normal paper but particularly cardstock or magazine covers) the scanner won't grab the paper. What can I do?
Also, when this happens, the scanner will report that "The page is jammed" and when I remove the jam - the printer will pass the rest of the pages through without a problem!! So. My head hurts a little 🙂
Thanks for any light you can shed!

when you say the scanner wont grab the paper, i'm assuming you're using the document feeder? If so, Open the document feeder access door and you'll see a set of rollers in there. Those rollers are what grab the paper and feed it into the scanner. If they are worn smooth, they need to be replaced. If they are just dirty, clean w/ some rubbing alcohol and that should get the paper going again. Keep in mind, heavier stock paper might have a more difficult time making its way through the paper paths on the feeder and utilizing the flatbed scanner might be a better option. Hope this helps.
