My scanner is creating a thick black line on any document. It happens on the digital copy as well, so I know it's not the print heads. Prints fine, but any copies or scans I do, has this black line. About to stop buying this brand because they don't last long...

The glass is clean. This is an issue with the actual part that scans-I have already ordered a new printer of a different brand.
