Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My Officejet pro 7740 scanner has stopped picking up cyan skies in images. I've changed resolution to 600dpi but still get white skies. Any ideas?

What about scanning other blue items? The cyan element of the scanner head might be weak or failing if all blues are not resolving properly.

I tried a cyan coloured book cover and it came out very clearly.  I have used the scanner for paintings in the past and this is definitely worse than before and too far from the original to be useful.  If the cyan head isn't at fault is there any other way to tweak things, having already tried going from 200 - 600 dpi?
