Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdw Printer

The scanner in this brand new Color LaserJet Pro 4301fdw sucks all of the paper in at once.  I tried everything: copying the document on different paper, trying to hold a piece back before it got sucked in, cleaning the rollers on the document feeder.  Tech support says it is a hardware issue, and now I have to figure out how to return this printer and exchange it for another one.  Has anyone else had this issue, and did anyone find a solution?
