We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP ENVY 4501 and HP 4630 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 NOrmally use HP 4630 all in one printer.  After a wind 10 automatic update my scanner stopped operation I ran"Printer & Scanner doc"  got a flag of "(Driver Check)".  Errased all the printer software in the computer and re down loaded the programs for H/P.  Re ran "Printer& Scanner.doc" still no help.  Went and got the wifes printer ENVY 4501. Same results. Ran Printer & Scanner doc and got the same results.   O I don't know what to do so I am punting the ball please help.  Running in "Bold print" so I can read it, please reply in bold.    Thank for you assistance.

@BillMac22, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Do you get any errors while scanning?
  • Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Use the HP Smart app to scan from your Win PC and check if that helps
