Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We recently purchased a HP ScanJetPro 2000. We installed the full feature package from here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-scanjet-pro-2000-s1-sheet-feed-scanner/10430933

 

The HP scan app and setup application that gets installed with the full feature package are unable to locate the scanner. We tried all of the fixes in this article: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05294287

 

The device appears in Devices and Printers with no errors. Windows scan works fine, but Windows scan app has limited capabilities which is why we want to use the HP Scan app. 

 

There's nothing on our network blocking the software or the USB port. 

 

This is a brand new scanner. Please help me understand this problem and how to fix it.
