I am having issues with the “scanner not found” error after the windows 11 image. The model is ScanJet Pro 2000 s2 (It's a USB connection). I installed the latest driver and restarted the Windows Image Acquisition service. The problem still isn’t fully resolved—even after installing the latest OS build 26100.4652.
I noticed: After completing the driver installation, Device Manager initially shows only one entry: "HP ScanJet Pro 2000 s2 (USB)" under Imaging Devices. At this stage, the scanner does not function and returns a "not found" error. But, after a few minutes, a second entry appears: "HP HP ScanJet Pro 2000 s2". When both entries are visible, the scanner starts working correctly.
If I leave the scanner sit for few minutes, it eventually connects but once the scanner turns off, I still get the message.
Any ideas? Thanks!
