Product: hp 4520 all in one, stopped scanning, but prints ok. display says no computer seen.
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

Using mac os,  hp printer 4520 all in one, prints ok, but scan mode operates and displays errors at the end.

Says computer not recognized.??  Used to work well.. just the other day.  Tried the reset and all but same results..   any ideas?

I have had 3 different HP printers shut down, and stop functioning.    8600, 8710 and a large format printer.  All in the last week or so.  HP is screwing with the background software, and blocked the ability for us to use our products.

 

I have contacted Support, so we will see.    I find it very odd that suddenly there are all of these printer issues.

 

In addition, I have always used genuine HP printer cartridges, but  just now, the computer diagnostics says that the HP cartridges are not "cloned or Altered".
