Hi @4Rock

Welcome to the HP Support Community! Thanks for posting your query!

We're here to help you get back up and running.

I hear you—when the scanner stops working it can be disruptive, and I want to make sure we narrow down the cause before jumping into solutions.

To help isolate the issue, could you share a bit more detail about the situation?

  • Which exact HP model are you using (for example, OfficeJet Pro 9010, Envy x360, etc.)?
  • Are you trying to scan from the printer’s control panel, from the HP App on Windows, or another method?
  • Do you see any error messages or codes on the printer display or in the HP App?
  • Has the scanner worked recently, or is this the first time you’re setting it up?
  • Are you connected via USB, Wi‑Fi, or Ethernet when attempting the scan?
  • If you’re using Windows, which version are you running (Windows 10 or Windows 11)?

Once I have these details, we’ll be able to pinpoint whether the issue is with the hardware, the connection, or the software setup. Could you walk me through what happens step by step when you try to scan?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
