I've troubleshot everything obvious, and this scanner & printer print quality issue persists. When I use the glass to scan a document of good quality the resulting print out is very poor quality, and when I print a good quality PDF the print out is poor quality. I've aligned the printer, ran all the cleaning options, and updated the firmware. My warranty ran out in August so now HP customer service won't deal with me. Please help!

I understand the print quality is not satisfactory. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Fixing Poor Print Quality
Note: Clean the ink cartridges up to 2 times.
Try making a standalone copy in black and color to check if the result. By this, we can isolate the issue. We will have to check which of the ink cartridge is not working fine.
