I am unable to get my HP Office Jet Pro All-in-One printer/scanner to scan over the network from my computer. My computer and operating system are:

Apple M2 Max running Sonoma 14.2.1

 

I am unable to print with no problem. Wireless/network status printouts from the printer seem fine. I am able to scan to a USB device just fine. However, if I attempt to use the HP scanner software (as well as the Apple software Image Capture) I get an error message: "Scanner reported an error. — An error occurred while communicating with the scanner."

 

I have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling all the software and drivers. I've tried to remove/reset the printer and add it back again. Printing continues to be just fine. But no matter what, I get the same scanner error.

 

Any help for this?
