Product: HP Deskjet 3056A
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I know this is a obsolete printer.  The scan does not work properly.  Scans dark with some green lines going up and down on the entire sheet.  I assume the printer is shot.  Someone please confirm.

How does a copy look ?

If the copy is the same with lines like scan then it's time for a new printer.

If we had the option to attach something I could show it.  Its a solid block color.  Mostly black with a little green near the middle.  A stream of hundreds of lines going up and down.
