We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Scanning a document with black, neon green, and neon orange, but the scan comes out with grey instead of the orange.

Black and green come out great.

 

Tried different file formats (JPG, PNG, TIFF..)

Tried different dpi (up to 1200)

Tried scanning to email, scanning from the desktop (mac), and from the embeded web server, all show up the same.

Overview/preview scan also shows the orange as grey.

Tried playing with image correction, doesn't change the grey.

Tried restarting (pulling power while on and waiting, holding power for 15s to turn off)

Nothing helps.

 

Running Firmware from 2017-09-06.

 

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

 

Have you tried doing a standalone copy?

if the copy also has the same issue its a hardware issue, but if the copy is fine then it could be a S/W issue.

Copy comes out the same, no orange.

Anything at all i can do to try to resolve it?
