After getting a blank screen on HP Solution Centre today trying to scan document, I discovered that this will no longer work following recently uninstalling Adobe Flash Player as it no longer operational. I tried to get around by downloading HP Scan and then HP Scan and Capture. Hit brick walls with both as there didn't appear to be anywhere to identify my printer / device and I couldn't get beyond this. I then updated my printer driver.  After doing this, even my printer has stopped working (this was working yesterday 2nd Feb 21) and I still get the blank Solution Centre screen when trying to access scanning option after everything I've tried. Can I get around this? OK it is an old printer / scanner but has worked perfectly and if I have to replace I am very reluctant to buy another HP if it is dependent on another company's software. I am by no mean a 'techy', I may be completely wrong in my summary of what's wrong and I have spent a frustrating morning learning the above which may be the cause of my scanner not working - is anybody able to advise me if and how i can resurrect my C4780 printer/scanner? Thank you
