Scanner is stopping midway right after powering on the printer. Does not go back to original position. This problem is not allowing to print anything from computer as well.

1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Check if the scanner carriage moves back to its original position when the printer powers on.
2. Check for Any Physical Obstructions
- Open the scanner lid and check if there are any obstructions or debris blocking the scanner's movement.
- Make sure that the scanner glass and the scanner bar are clean and free of dust or particles.
3. Perform a Hard Reset
- With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and the printer.
- Turn on the printer and check if the issue is resolved.
