Product: HP Office Jet Pro 9015

I just installed this printer two days ago and the scanner was working correctly including the top feeder.  Today the top feed scanner isn't pulling in the pages.  It seems to recognize I put something in there because the menu lights up, but it doesn't pull in the pages and instead scans the empty glass underneath.  Is there a fix for this or is the machine defective?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is feeding the paper from the document feeder.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
