Using my HP computer and HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All in One Printer with HP Smart App, both wireless, I get results printing documents from the computer to the printer.  However, when I try to scan  documents, using HP Smart, the scanner does not respond. The HP Smart window displays that the printer is off-line. The HP Pinter and Scan Doctor App and HP Printer Assistant App offer no solutions.

Hi,

Type HP Smart into the search bar, right-click it, and select Uninstall.

 

Reinstall the HP Smart app from the MS Store, launch it and follow the steps to re-add the printer:
