Common problems HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to scan
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176n
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Hello everyone,

I am suddenly unable to scan and copy anymore.

When I try to scan, the scanner interface (the one embedded with the MacOS) returns the following error:

"Scanner reported and error

The scan was not completed because the operation was cancelled while scanning was in progress."

When I try to photo-copy, the buttons for color copy and colourless copy fall deaf on the printer's ears. Nothing happens.

Both when scanning and copying, the printer display never shows any error.

The long light that scans the document never begins to move, it always stays fixed.

I tried disconnecting and reconnecting, as well as uninstalling and re-installing the printer and the associated HP software, but it solved nothing.

I am using MacOS Big Sur 11.7.2.

I doubt it is a software compatibility problem because I've scanned using this MacOS before.

Kind regards

Angelo
