We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

My scanner will not operate or work. Reinstalled printer did not help. When u hit the scan screen to start san u get nothing.

Printer works.  Acts like something isn't installed right but don't know what.

Are you able to make photocopies on the printer using ADF/flatbed?

Are you trying to scan using the printer front panel?

Is there any error message when you try to scan?

 

If you're able to make photocopies, you can try diagnosing the scanning issues using the automated tool designed by HP.

Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.

 

Try alternate scanning methods:

  • HP Smart app (Windows 10): Search the Microsoft Store for HP Smart to find and install this app. For more information, go to Using the HP Smart App (Windows 10).

  • HP Scan and Capture app (Windows 10, 😎: Scan documents or photos from the printer or webcam. A full feature print driver must be installed on the computer. For more information, go to Using the HP Scan and Capture App (Windows 8 and 10).

  • Windows Scan app (Windows 10, 😎: Search the Microsoft Store for windows scan to find and install this app.
