Hello Brianna231,
Unfortunately your description does not specify if your issue happens when using the scanning software from your computer, nor the software you are using. It does not specify if you can make copies or if you are trying to use scan to computer from the printer itself.
Because of that, we will provide general recommendations:
- Power cycle your printer: turn it off, unplug it and leave it that way for 2 minutes, plug it back, turn it on and test.
- You can get into the enable/disable menu by tapping this sequence in the icons below the touchscreen: home, back, home, back. Once there, you will see a long list of items and next to them some toggle switches. The idea is to look on the list for scanner or even Webscan and make sure the feature is enabled. Once done you can go back or tap in the home icon and test.
If further help is needed and your printer is still under warranty, you can call tech support. If your printer is out of warranty, you can also start a chat session or take the unit to a certified repair center.
