I have a HP ENVY Photo 7155.  This piece of junk won't let me scan until I put in a password  to use it.  I should not have to put in a password to use my own scanner.  Also, after scanning 28 pages, on the 29th page, it shut down saying I need to input the password again and I lost all 28 scanned documents.  This happened twice.  This needs to stop having to put in a password for scanning documents.  How do I stop this???????????????????????????????

Consider using Mopria Scan. This resource will show how to download and scan.

No accounts created, no sign-in needed.  Only thing is the printer needs to be connected to the network.

After selecting your email account, select modify then select auto-log in. You'll be all set.
