Product: Samsung Chromebook

So I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8600.  I recently bought a Samsung chromebook.  I have the printer connected through the wireless connection and it prints fine.  

******If I scan using the glass it scans just fine.  If I scan using the feeder the images are white/blank.  I'm using webscan.

Please advise on how to fix this issue.   Thank You

Also, I do have the paper feeding in the right way.  This is apparently a fairly widespread problem, but I'm not finding any real resolutions to the issue on forums.  Please advise...
