Hi,

I'm trying to scan with my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw and when I press 'Apps' it just says 'connecting' and clock starts spinning and nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling the startup disk with no improvement. Can anyone help please?

Hi Marisa,

You may follow this tool to install the latest firmware version from a Mac computer:

http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-M127-series/5396666/mo...

 

Please note that the printer need to be installed through a USB connection only, be sure to temporarly plug a USB cable in order to update the printer.

Performing a such through a wireless connection may fail and may damage the printer and threfore should not be done.

Hi,

From your PC, download and install the latest firmware for the printer, then restart the printer and check for any difference:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/LES/M127/HP_M127_128_FW_Update_20160622.exe

Hey this is not funny at all. You think HP is a serious company. You buy this **** that should be able toscan and than you finde out nobody is really able to scan on a mac.
