I have a couple m477s on our network. I've installed the full HP software package (HP Scan included) on a Win 10 64bit box. I've added both printers to the PC. I can only scan from the first printer I added and I dont see a way for me to tell HP Scan to scan from the other printer. How do I do that?

Hi,
You would need to configure multiple devices on your PC as you have multiple printers.
Once completing the setup you should run the setup again and follow the steps on screen to connect a new printer, once completing the installation and openning HP Scan you will be offered with a dialog to select the required device.
That step should be repeat for every different device so your PC will communicate with the different printers.

Just tried it and it worked great! Thanks for the info. One other thing though...
How do I rename the scanners? One is "HP CLJM477 Scan Driver" and the other is "HP CLJM477 Scan Driver #2". I'd like to make then a little more identifiable by adding the owner's.

Figured it out! There are couple registry keys where you can edit the "HKLM/.../FriendlyName" to whatever you want. Now the scanners are easily identifiable in all the lists in the various applications that access the scanner (HP Scan, Acrobat, etc...).
