I have been trying several options which are mentioned in this topic already. However nothing seems to work...
Everything works fine by the installed apps HP Smart & HP Easy Scan BUT I would like to scan directly from the printer to the computer using the touchscreen on my printer (OfficeJet 8010). If I touch scan on my printer a message shows that additional software is required - for Mac users they should use the IP of the printer into the HP Embedded Web Server (Embedded Web Server).
Doesn't show me in there how to get this problem solved.

The newer OfficeJet series printers like the 8010 are only supported through HP Smart and AirPrint/AirScan. At this time HP Smart does not support Scan to Computer on macOS. Therefore, scanning back to the Macintosh using the front control panel is not currently supported.

Hi,
Scanning from the printer front panel is only supported on Windows for your printer, it is not supported on Mac computers.
See page 45 of its User Guide which clearly covers any supported options for Windows and Mac:
