I've just bought a new Office Jet Pro 8025 and wold like to know  how to enable scan from the printer screen.

You need to install the full driver on your computer and then you will be able to scan from printer to a computer. Your computer will be shown on the printers screen so you can select it for scanning to PC.

How do I download this? HP directs me to download HP Smart. Can give me a link to the drivers please?

Download and install full software 208MB on your computer, and the name of the computer will appear on the printers screen when you choose to scan to PC

Thank you. Yes, the device does appear on the screen but it still won.t complete the scan. Message tells me to download and configure the software. i've downloaded tons of software to no avail.
