HP laser jet Pro MFPM148fdw printer/scanner. I was able to print and scan before three days. But suddenly the scanner is not working. SCANNING IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE MESSAGE IS THERE ON HP SMART. I tried to diagnosis through HP scan and print doctor. But the issue is not resolve. My printer status is READY.

I can print but can't scan. Please help me.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  1. shut down printer via on/off switch
  2. shut down the computer
  3. wait about 20 sec.
  4. Switch on the printer, wait until the printer has finished its initialization
  5. switch on computer, log in (with admin rights) and wait about 10 sec.

... and now everything's working again?
