We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP 2632 has worked fine, but now it suddenly does not work when I try to scan documents / pictures. I use HP Smart. I have deleted Smart and reinstalled, but no change. Still does not work when it comes to scanning, but works fine when typing from PC and mobile.

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are unable to scan using HP Smart. 

 

Try the below suggestions-

 

1)Uninstall HP Smart 

 

2)Install all the available Windows updates

If it is been a while since you updated your Windows, that is the main reason why Windows says your HP printer driver is unavailable. Here are the steps how to do a Windows Update to install all accessible operating system update.

 

If you are accessing Windows 10, then these steps are for you.

  1. Hit the Start menu and write an update. After that, click on the “Check for updates” option.
  2. Tap on the “Check for updates” option.
  3. After clicking on that option, Windows will install the updates automatically.
  4. When Windows completes all its updates, start your computer again and attempt to print a file to check if your printer works.

3) try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware 

 

4)Reinstall HP Smart from the windows store

 

If the error persists, install the HP Easy Start (under the Software and Utility tab )and use HP Scan to scan a document

. Thanks for the answer,

I did all you suggested, except HP Easy Start, but unfortunately it didn't work for me. 

If I used Adobe Acrobat DC,  the scanner worked fine. 

IBut now I have solved the problem by moving the printer so I could connect it with cable to the PC, so now it works fine with HP Smart also.

I am glad you came up with a workaround.

 

But I'd recommend you try and install HP Easy start and scan with HP Scan to see if that helps wirelessly.
