Is there a way to scan longer documents than the preset Automatic Feed settings? I am trying to scan Auto Sales Agreements and Bills of Sale?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

 

The automatic document can scan up to Legal size documents.  Need to make some settings change via Embedded Web Server.  The printer is assumed to be connected to the network.

 

Follow these steps:

1. Find the IP address of the printer

a.Do that by tapping on the Wireless icon at the top right hand corner 

b.Select network

c. Note down the IP address

 

2. Key the IP address into a browser

3. If there is a Security prompt, just go to "Advanced" & "Proceed to the IP address"

4. At EWS page, select "System" > "Page setup" > change the "Default  Paper size" to "Legal"

5. Load Legal size paper into the input tray

6. Load Legal size document into the ADF 

7. Copy!
